- 10 vol. - krāsošana par 1 toni gaišāk, tumšāk vai ar to pasu toni.
- 20 vol.- balināšana par 2 toņiem.
- 30 vol.- balināšana par 3 toņiem.
- 40 vol.- balināšana par 4 toņiem (balināšana līdz 5 toņiem ar ULP un UL).
